Initially, this seems like a standard thing and many individuals don’t give it a second thought. However, the way the connections both go down the same cable is actually more complex. If you turn off all your phone devices and the internet work (as opposed to not working before), then there is some clear interference. Call round your technician to sort out the problem or you can give rewiring a go yourself. All you really need to know is that your phones should all be connected on a filtered line. The computer and modem should not, as they won’t work.
