What is SWA Fibre Cable?
SWA (Steel Wire Armoured) fibre optic cable uses steel wire armour to provide robust mechanical protection around the fibre cable.
OS2, OM3 or OM4?
Choose the fibre type to match the network equipment and optics used at each end of the link. OS2 is singlemode, while OM3 and OM4 are multimode fibre types.
Bulk or Pre-Terminated?
Bulk SWA fibre is supplied cut to length for termination during installation. Pre-terminated SWA fibre is manufactured to the required length with factory-fitted and tested connectors.
SWA or CST?
SWA uses steel wire armour while CST uses corrugated steel tape. Both provide additional protection but differ in construction and installation characteristics.
