Multimode fibre cables use a wider core to carry multiple light signals, making them ideal for high-speed data transmission over shorter distances. They're widely used in data centres, LANs, and AV installations.

OM3, OM4 & OM5 Explained

  • OM3: Optimised for 10Gb up to 300m – aqua jacket
  • OM4: Supports up to 550m at 10Gb, 100m at 40Gb – aqua or violet
