Cat6a Cables

CAT6A PATCH CABLES - THE BEST CABLE YOU CAN GET!

All Ethernet cables have RJ45 connectors and they are divided into categories: more the number of the category is higher, more its speed in Mhz is higher as more able to eliminate interference and isolate the wires between them. When it comes to...

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CAT6A CABLES AND CAT5, CAT5E AND CAT6 CABLES

Common Ethernet cables are Cat5, Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6a

  • Cat5 cable is the slowest of the group and is now obsolete and almost no longer for sale. If you still use cables of this type, it is worth replacing.
  • Cat5e (Cat 5 enhanced – the “e” stands for enhanced, “advanced” in English) it is currently the most used in the new network systems, able to extremely reduce interference. Cat 5e cables leverage data transmission frequencies up to 100 MHz and it can provide a transfer rate up to 1 Gbps/s
  • Cat6 is a significant improvement over Cat 5e, suitable for fast 1 gigabit ethernet networks with bandwidth up to 250 MHz. Cat 6 is a cable with internal separator that isolates the wire pairs from each other and it characterized by zero connection errors and better value / signal / noise.
  • Cat6a cables are a further step forward. Cat6a cable sees working frequencies up to 500 MHz and it can support up to 10GB ethernet speeds
